EMBA Coordinator: Tingting Rachel Chung, PhD

Born and raised in Taiwan, Rachel Chung is a researcher and educator in the field of Information Systems. Rachel is completing her doctoral dissertation while teaching and working at Carlow University, Pittsburgh, PA. Rachel has advanced degrees in Psychology and Information Science. Her research work has appeared in major journals and international conferences. Rachel is an avid reader, a devoted teacher, and an amateur geek. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys cooking, gardening, blogging, traveling, and nature. Rachel speaks both Mandarin Chinese and English.

Profile
Enrique Mu, director of MBA and ITM programs, is an accomplished scholar and educator. Prioir to joining Carlow, Dr. Mu served as program director for the dual-degree MBA/MIS program in the Katz business school of University of Pittsburgh. Before coming to the academic, he worked for Black Box Corporation, a Data Communications Pittsburgh-based company, as business development manager for Latin America and as a customer support vice president for Comlasa Ltd., a computing solution firm, in the same region. He has been a project manager for several multimillion-dollar online banking automation projects in Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, and Chile. He has also taught in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. His areas of interest are in the use of information technology (IT) for business decisions, strategic use of IT in the organization, telecommunications, e-commerce, and international business. Enrique speaks both Spanish and English.

Mu has done consulting work in the areas of telecommunications management, IT marketing, and electronic commerce to organizations in the United States and Latin America.
Personal Interests
In his spare time, Mu is an avid reader of science fiction and considers himself an expert in UFO “research,” although he hasn’t yet had the opportunity to get any academic position in this discipline.
